Sheryl Crow - Live is a one-night only concert performance of many of Sheryl Crow's best-known songs. It was recorded live in Chicago as part of the PBS Sound Stage series. Because it is a small stage performance before a small, intimate crowd, the setting and the camera staging gives viewers the feel of actually being in the audience. The state-of-the-art video recording has received high ratings for excellent sound quality and presentation. Instrumentation is fairly basic in the sound stage format, including electric guitar, keyboards and drums, with parts of the performance featuring acoustic guitar and mandolin. Sheryl Crow - Live includes a rare cover of Nick Lowe's What's So Funny 'Bout Peace, Love and Understanding. Among favourites performed over the 90 minute concert: My Favourite Mistake, The First Cut is the Deepest, All I Wanna Do, Every Day is a Winding Road, Soak up the Sun, Sweet Rosalyn, and Leaving Las Vegas.
