Shirley Temple: Winnie The Pooh / Babes In Toyland is a retelling of classical children's tales, using marionettes. It starts with several classic Winnie the Pooh stories, as written by famed children's author, A.A. Milne. Stories are performed with puppets used for animals and the child actor Teddy Eccles in the role of Christopher Robin. The stories include such memorable tales as "Eeyore Loses a Tail," "Winnie the Pooh and the Rabbit Hole," "Tigger" and "Winnie the Pooh and the honey Tree." Babes in Toyland is hosted by the world-famous child actress Shirley Temple and her children. They tell the classic story of two kids who run away from their evil uncle and journey to the fabled Toyland. Their journey takes them through some very unfriendly locations, like the dark, spooky forest, and Meantown. The two kids are not deterred. Together, they make it through and end up in a place filled with toys and endless joy.
