Shock Cinema: Vol. 1 & 2 is a collection of the first two episodes of this horror movie series that has rarely been seen since it was initially released on video in the early 1990s. It features interviews with many famous horror film legends and professionals such as Forrest J. Ackerman (of Famous Monsters of Filmland fame), Jeff Burr (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3), Joel Bender, David DeCoteau (Creepazoids), C. Courtney Joyner, Melissa Moore, Mark McGee, Ted Newsom, Scott Spiegel, Charles Band (of Full Moon Pictures), and more. The interviews are conducted by Scream Queen Brinke Stevens from Witchhouse 3. This collection also features behind the scenes footage from such low budget horror films as Murder Weapon and Robot Ninja. This collection was directed by Robert Hayes. The interviewed filmmakers talk about how they came to Hollywood and how they make their super low budget films. The set itself is low budget and doesn't feature any footage from the specific films the filmmakers talk about in their interviews.moreless
