Shock Treatment is a sequel to the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Starring Brad Majors (Cliff de Young) and his wife Janet (Jessica Harper) who return to their hometown, Denton, to discover it has been transformed into a giant television studio. In Denton, the residents are now audience members or the contestants on the shows that are recorded there. The young couple become contestants on a television show called "Marriage Maze". Their marriage on the rocks, they are promised that the show will bring them closer together. Ultimately, though, it separates them in ways they never thought imaginable. Brad is committed to Dentonvale, an insane asylum. How did he end up there and whose idea was it? Janet is being groomed for further roles in new shows and enjoying her new exciting life of luxury. All this to the accompaniment of many song-and-dance numbers. What will become of Janet and Brad?
