Shooters is a 2002 crime drama directed by Glenn Dufort and Colin Teague. The movie is about a small-time criminal, Gilly (Louis Dempsey), who was recently released from jail. Once he reconnects with his drug-addicted buddy, J (Andrew Howard), he discovers that staying clean is going to be much harder than expected. Forever scheming, Gilly and J are involved with everything from trading drugs for guns to anything else that will make them a quick buck. Their many exploits bring them face to face with an Irish crime lord, Max Bell (Adrian Dunbar), and a warped drug supplier Jackie Junior (Gerard Butler). Now that Gilly has again dug a deep hole for himself, he's not sure if he'll ever be able to climb his way out. With his freedom and quite possibly his life on the line, Gilly must stay one step ahead of the law, as well as his seedy friends.
