Silencers is an action sci-fi film that shows how one good man, with the help of an extra terrestrial, can stop an alien invasion. The film opens with Chuck Rafferty (Jack Scalia) guarding the head of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Rawlings (Madison Mason). Two men-in-black attack the senator and Rafferty's client takes a bullet while the assassins get away. A depressed Rafferty goes on a short drinking binge, and one of the hit-men, Siakar (Steven Mattila), manages to take Rawlings' job. Siakar soon gets approval to go ahead with a secret energy project. Congress doesn't know that their chairman is an alien from the Marcabian nation. Rafferty returns to work, just in time for Siakar's advanced transporter inauguration. The alien Comdor is the first to pop out of the machine, and Siakar immediately has him arrested. The chairman assigns Rafferty to guard the vehicle that will take Comdor to interrogation. As Rafferty's van hits a roadblock, the men-in-black reappear to get rid of both Rafferty and Comdor and this time he's outnumbered. Things seem hopeless, until Comdor surprisingly grabs a gun to help his new bodyguard.moreless
