Silk Hope is the story of a wild-child and black sheep, Frannie Vaughn (Farrah Fawcett), and her return to the small rural town of Silk Hope where she grew up. Frannie ends up back in North Carolina to visit friends and family, only to find that she missed her mother's funeral and her sister is selling the farm where they were raised. The loss of her mother and her childhood home is too much for Frannie, so she decides to buy out her sister's share and save the farm. She takes a job at the local factory, and quickly catches the eye of the foreman, Ruben (Brad Johnson). Their relationship quickly advances and things are starting to look up for Frannie, but then Ruben loses his arm in an accident at work and her plans are now in question. Can she help Ruben through his accident and still save the farm?
