Sister Sister is a 1987 film that combines horror, mystery and drama. Directed by Bill Condon, the story follows the Bonnard sisters, Lucy (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and Charlotte (Judith Ivey). The two sisters have a close bond, although their attachment to each other might stem from a dark childhood secret instead of true sisterly affection. Although Charlotte has a long history of flirtation with a local, Cleve Doucet (Dennis Lipscomb), the two sisters are still single. Lucy and Charlotte have transformed their gorgeous Louisiana mansion into a guest house. The house draws a stream of unsuspecting visitors, including young Matt Rutledge (Eric Stoltz). Although Matt notices the uneasy atmosphere around the mansion, he also feels sparks flying between him and beautiful Lucy. The obvious attraction between Matt and Lucy makes Charlotte uncomfortable, however, awakening her protective side as Lucy's older sister. Matt is unable to free himself from his love for Lucy and finds himself deeper and deeper in the web of deception the Bonnard sisters have woven.moreless
