Sixties Soft Rock is a collection of the best music of the '60s. From "The British Invasion" to the American retaliation, all the major acts are present and spoken for. It isn't just rock, either. Many of the acts are classic flower power pop. The footage is taken from the world-famous '60s music show, "The Hullabaloo". These icons of music perform live in beautifully restored color, taking the audience back to the era of peace and sunshine. Many of these acts cannot be seen anywhere else. It is a collection of bands like no other: The Rascals, The Association, The Dixie Cups, The Kings, The Turtles, Sam the Sham & The Pharaohs. This film is an explosion of nostalgia for those who have lived through this incredible decade and a timeless window for those who haven't. It shows these musical icons, many of whom are still around today, at their brightest and grooviest, just the way they liked it.
