Skeleton Coast is a 1988 action film about Colonel William Smith (Ernest Borgnine), who learns that his CIA agent son has been kidnapped while working with rebel forces in Angola. Smith flies to the country and meets with a local kingpin, Elia (Herbert Lom), who tells him that his son is being held in a heavily defended fortification deep in the jungle. Fortunately, Smith has brought a ragtag bunch of mercenaries with him to help attack the stronghold. Some of the characters in Smith's personal army include Blade (Arnold Vosho), who is handy with knives, Tohsiro (Peter Kwong), a martial arts expert, and Sam (Nancy Mulford) a tough-as-nails woman. While assembling his team, however, Smith is confronted by a group of secret police and during the melee, one of the officers is killed. Now, not only does the gang have to worry about freeing Smith's son, they have to worry about the local security forces on their tail. Skeleton Coast is directed by John 'Bud' Cardos, from a screenplay by Nadia Caillou.moreless
