PG-13
Skinwalkers is a popular 2006 action horror film directed by James Isaac (Jason X, Pig Hunt). The movie tells the story of a young boy named Timothy (Matthew Knight, a very talented young actor, The Grudge 2 and 3, The Greatest Game Ever Played) and his family including Rhona Mitra (Highwaymen, Doomsday), Sarah Carter and Elias Koteas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Zodiac, Let Me In), who is targeted by a vicious pack of 'Skinwalkers' (Natassia Malthe, Jason Behr, Kim Coates ' Innocent Blood, The Last Boy Scout, Black Hawk Down - and Rogue Johnston), a particularly vicious blend of lycanthropes, because he holds the key to their way of life. The family tries to survive shoot-outs, attacks and more from the Skinwalkers before Timothy's thirteenth birthday, in which his transformation shall begin. Featuring mind-blowing werewolf transformation effects by the late great maestro Stan Winson (Jurassic Park, Aliens, The Terminator, Congo, The Relic).

Yawningly directed by Jim Isaac, Skinwalkers is a slavering mess that buries its clunky addiction metaphor beneath a welter of genre clichés, all delivered in extra-slow motion.
