Slackers is an American comedy film from 2002 directed by Dewey Nicks. Dave (Devon Sawa), Sam (Jason Segel), and Jeff (Michael C. Maronna) have a system. For the last four years, they've been scamming their way through college. If they can get through this year, they'll have graduated without doing any work. There's only one problem: Ethan (Jason Schwartzman) aka 'Cool Ethan' has found them out. He's promised not to bust them if they can get hook him up with Angela (Jaime King), his dream girl. There's only one problem: Dave is falling for Angela. David H. Steinberg, a Yale Man, wrote the film. It features cameos by Cameron Diaz and Mamie Van Doren. On the soundtrack are two original songs by star Jason Schwartzman along with a beautiful acapela version of Ace of Base's smash hit 'I saw the Sign.' Together, these three songs really pull the whole movie together.
