Slappy and the Stinkers is an American film released in 1998. The Stinkers are a group of five unruly children at the prestigious Dartmoor Academy. These kids, tired of their uptight principal (B.D. Wong) making them study Opera, are cutting class to cause some major havoc. Needless to say, these little stinkers get pretty zany. However, things take a turn for the even zanier when the kids discover Slappy, a sea lion at the local aquarium. They smuggle Slappy into the school and hide him in the principal's hot tub. When groundskeeper Roy (Bronson Pinchot) mistakes Slappy for a giant gopher and vows to kill him. Before he can, a local animal thief (Sam McMurray) steals Slappy and plans to sell him to the circus. BEGIN RESCUE MISSION! The film was both a financial and critical failure. To quote Leonard Maltin, it is "a complete waste of talent on both sides of the camera".
