Sleeping Beauty: Bonus Material celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of Disney's 1959 classic animated fairytale. A companion to the film, it contains seventy-five minutes of numerous special features and exclusive interviews. Among them is a behind-the-scenes featurette detailing the nearly four-and-a-half year process it took to make the movie. Mary Costa, the actress who voiced Aurora (the sleeping beauty) shares her memories of working on the film and of Walt Disney. We learn about the famous Tchaikovsky ballet music which became the fitting score for the lavishly animated masterpiece. Distinguished movie critic Leonard Maltin discusses the film's design.
