Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball is a crime thriller/action film starring Tom Berenger, Vinnie Jones, Tommy Flanagan, and Ernie Hudson in the prequel to 2007's smash-hit Smokin' Aces. In this film, the FBI uncover a plot to assassinate an unassuming FBI desk jockey named Walter Weed (Berenger). Whoever wants Weed dead wants it very badly, as a large number of the world's deadliest assassins have been hired to complete the job. The FBI get Weed to a secure place—a bomb shelter underneath a small town bar. Weed has no choice but to wait in captivity as seven world-class killers close in on the old bar, armed with a deadly arsenal of guns, knives, and explosives. This film is full of the same unique brand of fresh, stylized action sequences that made the first Smokin' Aces film so popular with audiences. Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball is a high-octane thrill ride, co-starring Clayne Crawford, Autumn Reeser, and Martha Higareda.
