Snow White and the Three Stooges is a comedic take on the classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs fairytale involving the three kings of slapstick comedy themselves - Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Joe DeRita a.k.a. "Curly Joe". The film was directed by Walter Lang and debuted in 1961. It was the second film the Three Stooges had made to date. Carol Heiss, a famous ice-skater from the 60's, stars as Snow White. Much like the original fairytale, Snow White is pursued by her rotten step mother who wants her dead now that she is Queen of Fortunia. A frantic and confused Snow White runs away and finds refuge in a tiny cabin in the middle of the woods. But instead of being greeted by seven spunky dwarves, Snow White meets three very eccentric men who all resemble clowns. If you are a fan of vaudeville or slapstick comedy, Snow White and the Three Stooges is a must see!
