So I Married An Axe Murderer is a film about Charlie, an avant-garde poet who is scared of commitment, who falls in love and marries Harriet, who his friend thinks might be an axe murderer. Charlie's best friend keeps pointing out shocking similarities between his bride-to-be and the infamous murderer who just so happens to be still at large. Harriet works at a butcher shop, and the killer is famous for butchering her husbands on the honeymoon night. Myers also played Charlie's Scottish father, Stuart.
