Soccer Dog: European Cup is the sequel to the original Soccer Dog movie. In this family film, Kimble the scientifically altered dog escapes evil scientists determined to experiment on animals, and winds up in a small run-down town in Scotland. There, he bumps into Zack (Jake Thomas) who becomes his owner. Zack has recently come from America, where he lived with his now-dead mother. He has moved to Scotland to live with his father Brian (Nick Moran) who he has never seen before. After a bumpy start for Brian and Zack, soccer is what brings together this unlikely father and son. The dog Kimble shows skill at the game, due to modifications by the evil scientists which were probably not intended to be used for soccer. As the relationships grow stronger, Zack and Kimble work together to hone their skills and bring glory to the small town by competing in soccer.
