S''lo Con Tu Pareja, also known as Love in the Time of Hysteria, is a Mexican film by director and writer Alfonso Curaron released in 1991. It follows a young, yuppie publicist and playboy T''mas (Daniel Gimenez Cacho) who is falsely diagnosed with AIDS by a bitter, scorned nurse. T''mas had cheated on Silvia the nurse (Dobrina Liubomirova) in the past and she decided to use the false diagnosis as a way to get revenge. T''mas responds to the diagnosis by attempting to commit suicide by placing his head inside a microwave. However, he falls for a young beautiful stewardess Clarissa (Claudia Ramirez) who is also attempting to kill herself because her lover is having an affair. This film is the first from Alfonso Curaron, co-wrote with his brother Carlos Curaron, and received an Ariel Award in 1992 and is considered one of the top 100 films from Mexico.
