South of Heaven, West of Hell is a western drama that tells the story of U.S Marshal Valentine Casey's (Dwight Yoakam) struggle to apprehend a marauding band of outlaws as they pillage the countryside, leaving a wake of blood and tears in their path. The infamous Henry Gang has risen to notoriety via their ruthless methods of carrying out murders and bank robberies. One of the outlaws Taylor Henry (Vince Vaugn), swears a vendetta against Marshal Valentine and makes it a personal mission to kill him. The clash between good and evil in this film pits two familiar men against one another. As fate would have it, Leland Henry (Luke Askew), the leader of the gang, is the one who raised Valentine Casey as a child. While Casey's ambitions are in the right, he must also strive to protect his love, Adalyne (Bridget Fonda), who will surely find herself in the crossfire of this bloody conflict.
