Space Children is an early sci-fi thriller with a subtle anti-war message in this classic 1958 film from director Jack Arnold ("Creature from the Black Lagoon"). Technician Dave Brewer (Adam Williams) takes a job on the Eagle Point Project and moves his wife Anne (Peggy Webber) and children, Bud (Michel Ray) and Ken (Johnny Crawford), to California. On the Air Force Base where Dave works, rocket scientists are developing "The Thunderer," a space missile that can launch a nuclear strike. While the parents work on this national defense system, their children are telepathically called to a secluded cave, where a mysterious "Brain" wants to use them to convince their parents to stop work on the dangerous project. When their efforts fail, the deadly missile is scheduled for launch. The "Brain" then sends the children to disarm the project themselves and Dr. Wahrman (Raymond Bailey) realizes that there are forces at work beyond his scientific imagination.
