Spartan is a 2004 action thriller that follows the plan to rescue the President's daughter, Laura Newton (Kristen Bell), after she is kidnapped. Bobby Scott (Val Kilmer) is a former Gunnery Sargeant who is called in to lead the Delta Force team. Scott recruits a couple of other agents and begins the investigation. He is given only two days to find the missing daughter before the media will report that she has disappeared from her classes at Harvard University. An exploration into her life reveals a darker underside, one which have already left the President's career compromised. However, Scott and his colleagues are put in the position of killing some of the men who might know best where to find her. Using only his wits and sophisticated technological tracking equipment, Scott realizes that there is an extraordinary conspiracy behind her disappearance which might have started closer to home. Spanning the world from Dubai to Washington to Israel, Spartan is an intense thriller.moreless
