Spider Baby is a 1964 comedy/horror film written and directed by Jack Hill. Bruno (Lon Chaney) is the guardian of three demented siblings in the Merrye family, Ralph (Sid Haig), Virginia (Jill Banner), and Elizabeth (Beverly Washburn). The siblings have a mental disorder known as Merrye Syndrome, which causes them to age backwards both mentally and physically. They live together in their family mansion, where Bruno tries his best to contain their madness from the outside world. All of the siblings have murderous urges, especially Virginia, who is nicknamed Spider Baby due to her obsession with killing people like a spider. Unfortunately, two distant relatives, Emily Howe (Carol Ohmart) and Peter Howe (Quinn K. Redeker), arrive at the mansion one day with the intention of laying claim to their inheritance. As Ralph, Virginia, and Elizabeth go on a murderous rampage, Bruno soon realizes that he has lost control of his charges.
