Peter Parker has revealed himself as Spider-Man to his beloved Mary Jane Watson. He still toils under his hard boiled boss J. But when a freak accident alters a con into a sand controlling villain dubbed appropriately Sandman, Spider-Man must attend to him, as well as his ever mutating condition, this time in the odd infection of his suit which is not only transforming his outfit into something vicious and viscous, but his personality as well eventually resulting in the new foe of Venom.
