Spider's Web is a 2002 crime thriller directed by Paul Levine. When Clay Harding (Stephen Baldwin) meets Lauren Bishop (Kari Wuhrer), sparks fly immediately. Bishop is a smart, ambitious executive and the younger man is the charismatic black sheep of a wealthy family. The two waste little time in beginning a passionate affair. However, it does not take long for Harding to reveal his extra motives. He wants Bishop to help him steal millions of dollars from his father (George Murdock), and Bishop does not need much convincing. Thanks to her role as his father's employee, Bishop has important inside information and access to Swiss bank accounts that Harding does not. At first, Harding thinks that everything is going according to plan. But with such high stakes, there are also dire consequences. When murder becomes part of the scheme, Harding starts to question whether Bishop is really on his side or whether the whole idea was hers all along.
