Squeeze Play is a 1979 comedy directed by Lloyd Kaufman. In this film, a group of girlfriends, including Samantha (Jennifer Hetrick), Jamie (Helen Campitelli), Mary Lou (Melissa Michaels) and Maureen (Diana Valentien) are tired of being ignored by their baseball-playing boyfriends. The only time quality time they get to spend with the men is when they go watch their games. When the women finally have enough of their boyfriends' hobbies, they decide to form their own all-girl softball team, but the women's boyfriends, Wes (Jim Harris), Buddy (Al Corely) and Bozo (Michael P. Moran), laugh at the girls and relentlessly mock their efforts. The women don't take the mockery well and challenge the men to a man vs. woman softball competition. The teams led by Samantha and Wes take the competition very seriously and train for the big day. What effect will the game have on the couples' relationships, or will they sacrifice relationships in order to score?
