Stardust is a lighthearted science fiction tale directed and written by Charles F. Cirgenski. Dr. Karol Wasacz (Olek Krupa) is a brilliant scientist who has perfected a revolutionary new microchip with the ability to turn inanimate objects into living beings. Wasacz discovers that his employer, BioTek, has plans to use his creation in military applications. Wasacz does not agree with the intended use of his research, so he steals the microchip before the BioTek goons can get their hands on it. BioTek is not about to let Wasacz escape that easily and they burn down Wasacz's lab. Framed for arson, Wasacz is hauled off to jail but not before he drops the chip off at his home. His son, Charlie (Jared Robbins), is vacuuming the house as part of his daily chores when he inadvertently sucks up the microchip. The vacuum cleaner breaks and is tossed in the garbage, but overnight the microchip does its thing and the vacuum comes to life. Now it is up to Charlie and Stardust, his new vacuum pal, to elude capture from BioTek and free his dad.moreless
