Starry Night is a comedy adventure film released in 1999 and directed by Paul Davids. The film follows the story of Vincent Van Gogh (David Abbott) as he is given a magical potion that will bring him back to life for 100 days in the future (our present day). After coming back to life, Van Gogh is startled to see that his paintings are now revered with great appreciation and worth tons of money. Never having been appreciated in his own time he now wants to prove who he actually is and steal back all of his precious paintings. Along his journey of thievery he makes friends with an attorney(Brian Dillinger) and young artist who both start to believe his claims of identity. However, hot on his trail is a detective (Sally Kirkland) set on catching the thief behind the missing paintings. A century is a long time to wait to have your dreams fulfilled, but with the help of the lawyer and the love of the young painter, Vincent is given a second chance at glory.
