Stars Over Texas is a Western that has lots of intense action and singing in it. The rancher Hank Lawrence (Lee Roberts) and his foreman Bert Ford (Lee Bennett) were the victims of a gang of thugs and criminals led by Ringo Evans (Jack O'Shea) that are stealing cattle but are also attempting to murder them. After escaping on horses from the gunfire they meet with cowboy Eddie Dean (Eddie Dean) and his partner Waco Harper (Lee Bennett) and tell them about the danger they find themselves in. Eddie agrees to help them get rid of the problem. They notice the obvious resemblance between the foreman and Waco. That is what leads Dean into designing a plan in which Waco, very skilled with his guns, will assume the role of the foreman, thus attracting the gang of outlaws that was out to kill them, into a final shooting. The film is wild west action at its best.
