Stiletto is a 2008 action thriller written by Paul Sloan and directed by Nick Vallelonga. The film follows sexy Russian assassin Raina Mavias (Stana Katic) who finds out that her ex-lover, Greek mob boss Virgil Vadalos (Tom Berenger), is responsible for her sister's kidnapping. Rather than seeking justice by going to the police, Raina takes matters into her own hands. One by one, she works her way through the ranks of her ex-lover's organization, luring Virgil's associates into her lair like a black widow spider and devouring them. As the body count grows, Virgil's increasing paranoia and rage lead him hire corrupt homicide detective, Beck (Paul Sloan), to track Raina down and kill her. As Raina gets closer and closer to Virgil, he finds that even some of his closest associates are not to be trusted. As the film heads toward its conclusion, the action heats-up when Raina pulls out all the stops to exact her revenge.
