Stompin' is a 2007 drama directed by Nate Thomas. The film is set in California and centers around two brothers, Jason Jackson (Chris Facey) and Ryan Jackson Jr. (Shedrack Anderson III). The brothers are both seniors in college, but they don't have anything else in common. Ryan Jr. always felt that Jason was their father's (Sinbad) favorite son. Ryan Jr. felt that his father preferred his brother Jason because of an incident from the boys' childhood. The boys are equally successful as adults, Ryan Jr. is getting ready to go to medical school and Jason is preparing to be the number one draft pick in the NBA. They both have other men in their life who are "surrogate" brothers and are content to not have a relationship with each other. Conflict erupts between the two when a Greek step dancing contest is scheduled. Can the brothers finally put an end to their disagreements, or will it take an accident to push them together?moreless
