Strangers is a 2007 drama about an unexpected and dangerous romance. Directed by Guy Nattiv and Erez Tadmor, the film follows Rana (Lubna Azabal), a young Palestinian woman who lives in Paris and travels to Berlin for the World Cup soccer finals. In the subway tunnels, she unexpectedly bumps into Eyal (Liron Levo), an Isreali man who usually lives in a kibbutz. When the two wind up on the same train, they accidentally switch bags and meet later to trade. From this random meeting, their connection to each other builds rapidly. The two feel passionately for each other despite the fact that they are still perfect strangers. After they have to leave each other, Rana and Eyal continue to think of each other constantly. The forbidden nature of their romance makes it difficult for them to meet, meaning they must carry out their romance in secret. It soon becomes unclear whether the two will be able to maintain their passion.
