Stuart Little 2 is a 2002 family comedy directed by Rob Minkoff about a young mouse who is adopted by a human family. In this sequel, innocent Stuart Little (Michael J. Fox) is once again looking for adventures. But Stuart's mother, Mrs. Eleanor Little (Geena Davis), is very protective of Stuart and this puts a damper on the young mouse's adventures because she largely determines what Stuart can and cannot do. Stuart's brother George (Jonathan Lipnicki) is getting older, making new friends and does not have as much time for Stuart anymore. Feeling constrained by his mother and lonely, Stuart finds a new friend when he is able to rescue a young canary, Margalo (Melanie Griffith) from a falcon. Margalo and Stuart are inseparable until one day when the canary mysteriously turns up missing. Now, Stuart must find a way to escape his mother's overprotectiveness and try to find his best friend.
