Subway is a 1985 French drama directed by Luc Besson. The story follows Fred (Christopher Lambert), an accomplished safecracker, who decides to hide out in the tunnels of the Paris Metro after stealing some compromising documents from his boss. In the subway, Fred meets a gang of misfits including a drummer (Jean Reno) and a bassist (Eric Serra). Together they form a rock band. Meanwhile, Fred seduces Helena (Isabelle Adjani), the bored wife of his former boss. At the same time, Fred is blackmailing his former boss with documents that he stole from him. The film reaches its exciting climax when corporate henchman working for his former boss catch-up with him at a concert. In a delicious irony, the concert is orchestrated using his former boss's money. Unable to warn him before the henchmen arrive, Helena watches helplessly as they catch up with Fred at the concert.
