Suck is a 2009 Canadian rock-and-roll vampire comedy film that tells the story of a rock band called "The Winners." The band consists of Joey Winner (Rob Stefaniuk), bassist Jennifer (Jessica Pare), drummer Sam (Mike Lobel), guitarist Tyler (Paul Anthony) and their roadie Hugo (Chris Ratz). Poorly managed by Jeff (Dave Foley), The Winners set out on a cross-continent tour, which Joey believes is his last chance at achieving success as a musician. When Jennifer becomes a vampire, she finds herself biting people all across North America. Eddie Van Helsing (Malcolm McDowell) is an afraid-of-the-dark vampire hunter, who goes in search of the cause of the outbreak of vampires. Filmed almost entirely in Toronto, Suck features members of the local goth scene in many of the films concerts. Also starring Iggy Pop as a music producer, Alice Cooper as an evil bartender, and Moby as a band's lead singer, Suck was written and directed by Rob Stefaniuk.
