Superman/Batman: Public Enemies brings two of the greatest icons in comic book history together for this pulse-pounding animated film. In a time of severe economic depression, Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown) is elected President of the United States. Luthor's guidance causes the nation to flourish, but a new threat is detected - a massive Kryptonite meteor racing towards Earth. When Luthor arranges a meeting with Superman (Tim Daly) in Gotham City, Superman is attacked by Metallo (John C. McGinley), who has been hired secretly by Luthor. The ensuing fight is quickly joined by Batman (Kevin Conroy), and Metallo is killed. Using this opportunity, Luthor claims that the meteor is affecting Superman, and places a bounty of one billion dollars on the Man of Steel's head. Now, Superman and Batman must contend with Luthor's band of superheroes, countless villains itching for a piece of the action and the reward that comes with it, and the meteor that could herald Earth's destruction.
