Superstarlet A.D. presents a racy and campy vision of the lost city of Femphis in a post-apocalyptic millennium. In this future world, men have reverted to caveman while women have evolved into physical perfection. These beauties, however, are torn by petty rivalries and wars of gossip. They divide themselves into three beauty cults based on hair color: Tempests for redheads, Phayrays for blondes and Satanas for brunettes. Out of this division, a fourth elite cult emerges, the Superstarlets, combining the powers of all three hair colors. These buxom warriors, united by the common ancestry of 1950s burlesque stars, wander the streets carrying machine guns, wearing vintage lingerie and raiding movie theaters. In one of the film's many monologues, blonde Rachel (Alicja Trout) explains that in decaying movie houses they can find the ancestral stag films of their grandmothers. Only then can they understand, frame by frame, a dead generation that still lives on machines.
