Surviving the Game is an action movie directed by Ernest R. Dickerson. After his dog and his best friend both die, homeless Seattle native Jack Mason (Ice-T) resolves to kill himself. However, a seemingly friendly charity worker named Walter Cole (Charles S. Dutton) prevents him from committing suicide by offering him a job as a servant for a group of wealthy hunters. When they arrive at an isolated cabin in the Rocky Mountains, Mason meets the four hunters, Doc Hawkins (Gary Busey), John Griffin (John McGinley), Derek Wolfe Sr. (F. Murray Abraham) and Derek Wolfe Jr. (William McNamara). Although Mason initially acts as their servant, Cole soon reveals that he brought him there for a horrifying purpose -- to be hunted by the demented businessmen. As the men grab their guns and pursue Mason through the wilderness, he decides that he will not let them take him down without a fight.
