Swedish Auto is an independent drama directed by Derek Sieg and released in 2010. The film takes place in a sleepy, southern town. Carter (Lukas Haas) is an auto mechanic and a quiet loner, he spends his days working, and the rest of his time alone. Darla (January Jones) is a waitress in the same small town. Darla, like Carter, is quiet, and lives a lonely life. She spends her days working as a waitress and the rest of her time trying to avoid her home life and her mom's creepy boyfriend. Most afternoons Carter and a couple of other mechanics have lunch at Darla's diner. Darla begins to take an interest in Carter, but Carter doesn't notice Darla. One night Carter starts to follow a beautiful woman, Anne (Brianne Davis). While Carter is stalking Anne we learn that Darla is stalking Carter. As the plot unfolds Darla and Carter learn about themselves, loneliness, escape and love.
