Sweet Hearts Dance is an American drama that was released in 1988. Wiley Boon (Don Johnson) and his high school sweetheart Sandra (Susan Sarandon) have been married for 15 years and have three children together. Following years of routine and a lack of excitement, Wiley is on the verge of a midlife crisis while his best friend Sam (Jeff Daniels) is just beginning a new and exciting relationship with Adie Nims (Elizabeth Perkins), who recently moved from Florida to teach at the local grade school. Over Thanksgiving dinner, Wiley and Sandra have a disagreement, which sets Wiley into action. He moves out of the family home and into a mobile home where he hopes to have the space and time he need to deal with his feelings and figure out what he really wants in life. During the holidays, the couple must try to salvage their lives and figure out where it went wrong to keep it from happening again.
