Sweet Lies is a romantic comedy about an insurance adjuster that finds himself embroiled in a surprising love triangle on an assignment in France. After a Parisian man makes a claim that he is now disabled, insurance adjuster Peter Nicholl (Treat Williams) hops on a flight to France to investigate. There he meets a pair of young beauties, Joelle (Joanna Pacula) and Dixie (Julianne Phillips), and develops feelings for both of them. But while Peter is there looking for foul play, he might be the victim of some foul play himself, as the girls from Paris have made a bet to see which one can get the sexy American under the sheets first. So when the savvy Yank figures out their true intentions, he plays a little game of his own, resulting in a full fledged romantic entanglement. Nathalie Delon directs this carefree and charming story about international love games.
