Table One depicts a light comedy of four friends in their forties: Norman (David Herman), Rowdy (Michael Rooker), Scott (Ben Shenkman) and Brock (Ezra Knight), have problems getting their own women. They decide to give up a rowdy lifestyle of the overcrowded, under-lit and noisy night club, known as the center of their relaxation, to start off their own restaurant with the hope that it will give them the opportunity to connect with women. They enlist the help of a bartender and a doorman, both of which were their former friends. The start-up fund is inadequate as they find out, so the bartender persuades his acquaintance to give funds for the business. Failure to check out their partners' past leads to more intrigues. Later, they abandon the original business idea for something more interesting and incredible. Nevertheless, each of the four men continues to have difficulties connecting with their dream women.
