Tail Lights Fade is a 1999 independent dramatic action comedy from Canada directed by Malcolm Ingram. In the film, Angie (Tanya Allen) has just learned that her brother has been busted for marijuana possession. Angie confides in her slacker boyfriend, Cole (Brecken Meyer), about her brothers' troubles. After talking it over with Cole, Angie decides to drive across Canada to her brother's home. She wants to bail her brother out and destroy his stash in hopes of straightening him out. Cole brags about his cross-country trip to his trashy friends, Bruce (Jake Busey), and Wendy (Denise Richards). They, in turn, invite themselves to tag along on the trip. The foursome run into a variety of issues as they try to make it across the country. Halfway through the trip Angie begins to wish she had done the trip alone. Will Angie be able to help her brother, or will the foursome turn back before they make it to their destination?
