Take Me Back to Oklahoma is a Western film that centers around one man's mission to help a friend in need. Ace (Carleton Young) works for a stagecoach line that is under attack by a band of outlaws. He calls upon his friend, Tex Lawton (Tex Ritter), to help him get rid of the ruthless killers. Tex arrives with his sidekick, Slim Hunkapillar (Slim Andrews), and immediately gets to work by saving Ace's girlfriend, Jane Winters (Terry Walker), who is being held captive on a stagecoach. In turn, he is named the town's new stagecoach driver. Tex does what he can to help the town out, even putting on a show to help raise money for the local church. Meanwhile, one of the town's outlaws, Storm (Karl Hackett), devises two different plans to get rid of Tex. What Storm does not realize is that Tex has a plan of his own. Take Me Back to Oklahoma was directed by Albert Herman and produced by Edward Finney.moreless
