Take This Job and Shove It is a film named after the Country Western song of the same name. The stars of the film include Robert Hays, David Keith, Art Carney, and Barbara Hershey. The film begins with a major corporation, known as The Ellison Group, purchasing a group of failing breweries. Main character Frank Macklin (Robert Hays) is chosen by The Ellison Group to supervise one such brewery in his home town. The employees of the brewery are initially unmoved by his return, as they do not believe that he is able to save the brewery. However, the employees and his old friends become more accepting when Macklin informs them that they will lose their jobs if the brewery's productivity does not increase. The film includes the first appearances of monster trucks Bigfoot, Silver Bullet, and Thunderin' Lightning. Take This Job and Shove It was written by Jeffrey Bernini and Barry Schneider, and directed by Gus Trikonis.
