Tan Lines follows three sisters as they struggle to form a familial bond after their father has died. All three have different mothers and their family history has been complicated, at best. Ester (Antonia Lewis), Julia (Frida Farrell), and Christina (Siri Ingul) decide to take a vacation traveling through the south of France. Along the way, the girls meet hunky surfer Jamie (Andrew Southern). The romantic entanglements that follow help the sisters learn to deal with the emotional tensions of their relationships and come to terms with their fractured past. The sisters continue their journey when Jamie, who is also struggling with his own identity, decides to travel with Geoff (David Savile), a mysterious older stranger. The film was an official selection of the 2005 New York Independent International Film Festival and was directed and written by Johnny Williams. This film has not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America.
