Tank Battalion is a war drama filmed in 1958 where a tank crew led by Sgt. Brad Dunne (Don Kelly) is sent to fight the North Koreans to take control of a very important strategic landmark, the 38th parallel. The crew gets bottled in an ambush right before engaging in the big fight ''code name Spider''. Director Sherman A. Rose adds to the drama by disabling the tank leaving the crew vulnerable as the North Koreans retaliate. Sgt. Dunne''s mission through the movie is to acquire and bring the missing piece of equipment in order to fix the tank and that way have a chance to stop the Korean attack and lead his crew to victory and salvation. The movie has great action scenes and a captivating ending in which an incredible combat scene between the crew''s tank and Korean forces takes place. Tank Battalion offers action, drama, suspense and a sense of patriotism that can only be offered by good war movies.moreless
