PG-13
Teen Witch is a fantasy comedy film directed by Dorian Walker that follows Louise Miller (Robyn Lively), a kind and caring fifteen-year-old who spends her high school days pining to shed her geeky exterior for a chance of popularity and a glance from the hottest guy in the school Brad (Dan Gauthier). As she’s coming home from a horrifying blind date set up by the malicious Queen Bee Randa (Lisa Fuller) with her lecherous cousin, Louise meets Madame Serena (Zelda Rubinstein), a woman who swears that not only is she a real witch but that Louise is one too! It seems that Madame Serena might be on to something when a powerful amulet randomly appears on Louise’s 16th birthday and she begins to utilize her burgeoning powers to get what she wants: popularity and Brad. Turning her annoying and disgusting brother Richie (Joshua Miller) into a dog was just a bonus! Magic-induced popularity though is not exactly what it seems as Louise comes to terms with what matters most in the end.moreless
