Teenage Caveman is a feature made in 1958, and can be viewed on the AMC website as part of their B-movie lineup. It features Robert Vaughn, in one of his early roles, as a young adventurous cave-teen, eager to explore the forbidden land where his people dare not go. What he finds over the river and into the woods are strange beasts, food aplenty, and different men with foreign knowledge and skills. He tries to convince his people to accept his findings and forget the law of which they piously abide. But to his avail, they refuse to change and kill their only living link to the future and the past. This prehistoric and surprisingly post-apocalyptic tale, directed by legendary director Roger Corman, was first titled Prehistoric World. Actor Robert Vaughn has been quoted saying that this is the worst film ever made.
