The killing machine from the future known as the Terminator is back, but this time he has been reprogrammed to keep Sarah Connor and young savior of humanity John Connor safe from the upgraded Terminator; the T1000, that is after them. It has been ten years since the first attack, and Sarah Connor has been institutionalized for trying to tell the world of the impending judgment day. Her son John Connor is a troubled youth in foster care. The Terminator saves John from the T-1000 and frees Sarah from her asylum. The three forge a plan to blow up Skynet, kill it's creator Miles Dyson, destroy the T-1000 and stop Judgment Day from happening.
